Back to Bangalore and join Bank of India

It was very sad to resign a well psid job at Vicks and return to Bangalore searching for a job My father advised me to apply for; posts at Banks,Income Tax Dept etc I got s call from Income Tax Dept and interviewed but didnot pursue joining as I got an offer from Bank of India earlie>I had submitted application for the post of an Assistant in Central Bank of India,State Bank of Mysore,State Bank of India,Bank of Baroda etc From Bank of India Bangalore I got a letter for writing s written test in July 1968 I wrote the test along with other 25 graduates I got selected for interview for which about 6 were called ,In the interview I got selected for post of Assistant to join duty at Bangalore Br in 6 th Aug 1968I came to know I was first in the written test heldI was given the appointment order and required to pay Rs 2500 as cash security I had my Medical Examination by Bank's Doctor and joined duty at Bangalore Br and furnished cash security by getting a portion of it from my elder brother Konthai I had a very haappy servuce at thr bank over 39 years and I retred as Senior Manager on 39t june 2007 from Kuruci Industrial Branch Coimbatore Zone in my bext chapters I shall write about my postings at varioys branches ,my marruage in 1974 and journy wuth the spouse, family etc
